Teams - Set Custom Status Message

1. Login to Teams Desktop Application or Web Application.

2. Click the User Display Icon.

3. Select Set Status Message.

4. a. Type Custom Away Message.

b. Check the box for - Show When People Message Me.

c. Set Clear status message from the drop-down menu of your choosing.

d. Click Done.

5. This will now alert users who message you of your current away status, and will display as below:
