Syncing Files with OneDrive
Syncing Files with OneDrive
**By default, OneDrive is already enabled on your system. Your Desktop and Documents folder should be the locations that are scheduled to sync to OneDrive. This document will detail how to pause/resume syncing and to add other folders to the OneDrive sync.**
Pausing OneDrive Sync
1. Locate the blue cloud located in the bottom right corner of your system tray.

2. If you double-click the blue cloud, file explorer will open and detail all the folders you have scheduled to sync with OneDrive.
3. If you right-click the blue cloud, you will see additional settings for OneDrive.
4. You should see a setting for "Pause syncing". You have the option to pause this for a time frame of 2, 8, and 24 hours.
5. To resume OneDrive, right click the blue cloud and select "Resume syncing".
Managing Storage
Right-click the blue cloud and select "Manage Storage". This will open all your data that you have successfully synced. From this interface, you can delete files as needed.
If you are using a personal, non-Core4ce laptop, you can also access your OneDrive files by going to onedrive.com and signing in with your Core4ce credentials.
Selecting which files you would like to Sync with OneDrive
In file explorer, the files/folders will provide a status on whether they are syncing with OneDrive. If you notice a green checkmark, these files are only saved on your local hard drive. A blue cloud confirms that those files/folders has successfully synced to OneDrive.
To have a file/folder sync to OneDrive, right-click the file/folder and select "Free Up Space". To have a file/folder stop syncing with OneDrive, right-click the file/folder and select "Always keep on this device".
