Old_Do_Not_Use_Core4ce New Computer Setup - Join device to Organization
New laptops can be configured to connect user accounts to Azure Active Directory with ease by following this guide.
What happens when you join your device?
Windows registers your device to your organization's network, letting you access your resources using your personal account. After your device is registered, Windows then joins your device to the network, so you can use your organization's username and password to sign in and access restricted resources
Pre-Setup:
1. Unbox laptop and power supply. Connect the power supply to a power outlet and plugin to the laptop.
2. Power on the laptop and begin the process.
Setup:
1. Select Language - English. Click Next.
2. Select United States. Click Yes.
3. Select your keyboard layout, and click Yes.
4. Click Skip on adding another keyboard.
5. If you're using a Wi-Fi connection, you'll be prompted to enter the wireless credentials to connect. However, if you're using an Ethernet connection, your device will connect to the internet automatically.
6. Windows 10 License Agreement - Click Accept
7. Select Setup for an Organization, and click Next.
8. Enter your Core4ce email address, and click Next.
9. Enter your Core4ce email account password, and click Next.
10. Support and Protection. Enter it@core4ce.com in the email selection box. Click Next.
11. For Set up Windows Hello, Click Skip for now.
12. You will be prompted to authenticate your account per Microsoft, click Next at this screen.
13. Apply your mobile number and click next.
14. A 6 digit verification code will be sent via SMS to your mobile device. Apply the code and click Verify.
*Wait for the validation to signify success before proceeding, and click Done*
15. Next, you will be prompted to setup an 8 digit PIN. Please use all numbers for your PIN selection and click Ok.
16. Your PIN is now set. Click OK.
17. Windows will now welcome you, and sign you into your profile. Your account has successfully joined the Organization through Azure Active Directory.
To make sure you've joined the Organization:
1. Open Windows Settings, and then Select Accounts.
2. Select Access work or school, and make sure you see text that states:
